We are called to act in response to our love and relationship with the father. RRC was birthed out of three years of prayer. It was followed by small steps of obedience, with God filling in details from the start. This is how Redeem and Restore Center came to be and we need your prayers to continue. Prayer for Redeem and Restore Center:
Dear Jesus, I pray that you will continually strengthen the unity of the Redeem and Restore Center team. I come into agreement with your heart for unity among the children of God. I pray that they will be one, just as you and the Father are one. You have given us the glory that the Father gave you, so we may be brought into complete unity. ( Jn. 17:21-23) Lord, as the Redeem and Restore Center team prepares for the upcoming steps that need to be made, I pray over each detail. I praise you for you care about each detail of our lives. You even number the very hairs on our heads. ( Lk 12:7) Have your way in all the plans for each detail. For although this ministry has planned their course, you declare that you will establish their steps. ( Pro. 16:9) May it all be to your glory. I pray that you would multiply the fruit of this ministry in order that more rescued women and children would be richly blessed through it. I pray against every scheme of the wicked one as we seek to act justly, love mercy and walk humbly with you. ( Micah 6:8) I praise you that no weapon forged against them will prevail. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord. ( Is. 54:17) Hallelujah! The enemy has been disarmed ( Col. 2:15), and your plans stand firm forever. ( Ps. 33:11) Thank you for your protection over this team and over all those involved in bringing hope and healing to the oppressed. Right now we commit to you all of the efforts of Redeem and Restore Center so that you will establish their plans. ( Pro. 16:3) To the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now, and forevermore! ( Jude 1:15) Amen.
Prayer for those rescued from sex trafficking:
Dear Father, Your Word says that hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life. (Pro. 13:12) You know the longings in the hearts of every survivor of sex trafficking. You are aware of every hope deferred along their difficult journey. But God, you will never forget the needy; the hope of the afflicted will never perish. (Ps. 9:18) God our Savior, you are the hope of all the ends of the earth. (Ps. 65:5) Fill these survivors with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit they may abound in hope. (Ro. 15:13) Lord, they have overcome horrific obstacles. Give them courage to dream again. In the name of Jesus’ I pray. Amen.
Prayer for brothels to be closed:
Dear God, Nothing in all creation is hidden from your sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of whom we must give account. (Heb 4:13) You are well aware of the evil taking place in brothels around our country and beyond. Just as you delivered the Israelites from the Egyptians by parting the Red Sea, make a way for the captives of these brothels to be led into freedom. You confused the enemy and jammed the wheels of their chariots so they had difficulty in driving, causing them to want to give up their pursuit of your people. (Ex. 14:21-25) In the same way, we ask you to move on behalf of the oppressed, O God. Confuse the wicked. Confound their words, for I see violence and strife in the city. (Ps. 55:9) Shut down these brothels completely! You thwart the plans of the crafty, so that their hands achieve no success. You catch the wise in their craftiness, and the schemes of the wily are swept away. (Job 5:12-13) Do not grant the wicked their desires, Lord; do not let their plans succeed. (Ps. 140:8) Shut down their places of business by the power of your mighty right hand! In the name of Jesus! Amen.
Prayer for those rescuing those trapped in sex trafficking:
Dear Lord, I pray for protection over each person engaged in anti-trafficking efforts. Teach us to dwell in your shelter so we will rest in your shadow. You will cover us with your feathers and under your wings we will find refuge. Your faithfulness will be our shield and rampart. (Ps. 91:1,4) Let all who take refuge in you be glad; let them ever sing for joy. Spread your protection over them that those who love your name may rejoice in you. (Ps. 5:11) We are trusting in you as we combat the dark industry of human trafficking. You are a shield around us, O LORD. (Ps. 3:3) Your name is a Strong Tower, the righteous run to it and are safe. (Pro. 18:10) For you have been our Refuge—a Strong Tower against the foe. (Ps. 61:2-3) Let us not be afraid, for you are our Shield, our Great Reward, our Helper and Glorious Sword. (Gen. 15:1; Deut. 33:29) Truly you are our Rock, Salvation, and Fortress. We will not be shaken. (Ps. 62:6) Thank you for protecting us. In Jesus’ name, amen.
Prayer for provision:
Dear Jesus, There are many costs in caring for survivors of human trafficking. Yet you commanded us not to be anxious for anything. Instead you called us to let our request be known by prayer, supplication and with thanksgiving. (Phil. 4:6) In fact, you know our needs before we even ask you! (Matt. 6:8) I pray for the needs of Abolition International, and every A.I.S.A. shelter, in order for quality aftercare for survivors to be sustained. I thank you for supplying every need according to the riches of your glory. (Phil. 4:19) Thank you for blessing them abundantly so that in all things, at all times, having all that they need, they will abound in every good work. You distribute freely and give to the poor. Thank you for supplying and multiplying the seed for sowing and for increasing the harvest of their righteousness. May they be enriched in every way to be generous in every way, which will produce thanksgiving to you, O God. (2 Cor. 9:8-11) In Jesus’ name, I pray amen.
Now this is the confidence we have in him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. 1 John 5:14
