We NEED to purchase a HOME
I have been asking, seeking, and knocking well before I even had any plans in starting Redeem & Restore Center in all things. Today, I am specifically talking about RRC. Every step of the journey in building this ministry, was first a prayer to know what to do, where to go, what was next… to lead us to opening a restorative care home for women (who had been exploited/trafficked) to come and find restoration and hope for what could be.
ASK and it will be given to you;
SEEK and you will find;
KNOCK and the door will be opened to you.
Matthew 6 sets it up before these verses: Seek FIRST the kingdom of God and his righteousness, AND all these things will be added to you.
This isn’t about asking for whatever we want and receiving. This is about centering our desires upon seeking God- His perfect plans and desires over our own, and following up in prayer for the things and needs we have that are in line with His heart and His word.
Redeem & Restore Center is HIS. He has led me to start, lead, and build it. There has been CONSTANT learning and persevering. It has been 8 years. Nothing has gone how I wanted it to go or as speedy as I would have liked. YET- the journey has been rich and beautiful. AND we really are just beginning.
As of December, RRC leadership has chosen to start looking for the HOME in western Waukesha County.
We have a few realistic hurdles in front of us.
*You may know that the real estate market is still HOT, and it will probably stay that while for at least another year.
*We need certain amount of rooms and in a particular layout; not just any home.
*If our offer is contingent upon getting group home zoning approval from the community. It would be about 120 days for the process!
*The community needs to allow for zoning chang and get license approval for group home through the state
Will you join us in asking, seeking, knocking for: His steps to be clear to us, lead us to make offer on the home He has chosen, to get all approvals needed??
We want to move forward, and acknowledge, that will NOT happen without God showing His provision and blessings!
