Redeem and Restore Center is answering God’s call to do justice, love mercy and walk humbly with God. Serving Him, by giving of ourselves (resources, talents, skills, labor, our hearts) to reach out and stand in the gap for those beaten, broken and lost through sex trafficking.
We love because he first loved us. Because of His great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions- it is by grace we are saved. — An understanding of God should compel love for others and engagement in justice.
Perfect Love: Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous, it does not brag, and it is not proud. Love is not rude, is not selfish, and does not get upset with others. Love does not count up wrongs that have been done. Love takes no pleasure in evil but rejoices over the truth. Love patiently accepts all things. It always trusts, always hopes, and always endures. May this always be at the center of all that Redeem and Restore Center does. None of us are able to love perfectly, but may we strive to live it out the best we can.
We are all human, fallible and selfish, but this cannot keep us from trying. We cannot fix every problem or injustice. We do not have all the answers. We cannot erase the past. But we all can love. We all can do unselfish things. We all can do something for someone else. God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. (2 Corinthians 9:8)
With God’s help (power, wisdom, grace, love, mercy), we all can help women be redeemed and restored. With people using their skills, gifts, talents; like administration, networking, fundraising, donating in-kind gifts, your time, giving financial support. These are all tangible ways we can express or show love for people in need. Nothing is insignificant; all are important.
What can you do or offer to help show love to those who are hurting, broken and lost?
If you have realized that you do have something to offer, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We look forward to working with you!
